Wot win rate boost faq
What is the average win rate in world of tanks?
The average win rate of the WoT player is around 48-49%. While not particularly great and praiseworthy, players with this win rate are considered having enough knowledge about game mechanics and competence on the battlefield.
The players with a win rate of 45% and below are considered noobs and overall unreliable. Meanwhile, if the win rate is above 50%, the player generally has enough mastery to turn the tides during a difficult situation. Of course, the higher the win rate, the more reliable the player considered to be.
Who has the highest win rate in world of tanks?
Currently, the highest win rate of 91.39% belongs to the player Judge_iEriC. This is undoubtedly awe-inspiring and something to admire, but don’t be too intimidated — we’re talking about the player that has only ~1k of battles and play only on the II tier tank.
Only three players worldwide have a rating above 90%, 22 have an 80-90% rating, and about 160 have a 70-80% rating. 60+% rating, on the other hand, is much more natural and palpable, with several thousand players reaching it. This is more than enough to prove that you’re a pro player.
What is a good win rate in wot?
Win rate isn’t a be-all and end-all of WoT player’s stats. After all, a lot depends on your teammates, whom you can’t control. Still, this is a generally good indicator of how well a person plays and how much influence they have over the battlefield. Overall, any win rate above 50% is considered good, but there are some nuances:
- 48-50% - the average casual player
- 50-54% - the player is good but has a minimum influence on the match overall
- 55-59% - the player is great and can positively influence the game’s outcome.
- 60+% - the player can be considered a pro and knows what to do to secure the victory.
How is the win rate calculated in wot?
Your win rate is the total number of battles you participated in divided by the number of victories you had. One notable detail is that losses and draws both counts towards the “battles you haven’t won” category. In other words, whether you lost a match or had a draw, it’s counted the same way in your win rate. This is somewhat controversial among WoT players, but it is what it is and doesn’t affect the numbers much. But still worth keeping in mind.
How do i improve my win rate in world of tanks?
Like with any other competitive discipline, there isn’t any single trick we can give you to start consistently winning. However, we can provide several general pieces of advice on how to perform better in the game!
- Gear up! Don’t go into the battle with the untrained crew and stock tank — that will severely hinder your performance. You will be slower, clunkier, weaker, and just an overall burden for your team. Train your crew, equip powerful modules, and get useful consumables before venturing into battle.
- Learn Teamwork. While a single player can turn the tides of battle, you shouldn’t be fighting alone. Coordinate your actions with the team, and learn to deduct where and how you will be able to support your teammates the most.
- Learn weak spots. While WoT might not have the most in-depth simulation of the tanks, where your shots land still matters. Don’t shoot as soon as you see the enemy tank in your scope. Choosing where to shoot can make a difference between a critical hit and a ricochet.
- Join a clan and platoon with better players. Just like with any skill, learning from professionals will make you better. Try to pick up on their positioning, strategies, tactics, builds, tank choices, etc.
- Learn the tanks. Of course, there are too many tanks in the game to know everything about all of them from the get-go. But at least learn more about the tank(s) you’re currently using — their stats, quirks, weaknesses, strengths, advantages, and disadvantages. Tanks differ by country, class, and many other characteristics, so it would be amateur to try and play all of them the same — you should constantly adapt.
- Play good tanks and use premium rounds. As much fun as you might have in your favorite tank, it might not necessarily be the most effective one. And while using premium rounds will cost you extra, sometimes a single shot can decide the outcome of the entire match, so it’s good to have some of them around.
- Play the tanks and tiers you’re comfortable with. That might sound like it contradicts the last point, but they are actually co-dependent. Playing a Tier10 tank that you know nothing about and don’t like how it controls will do nothing to help your team win, no matter how “meta” it is. If you have a good win rate on a lower-tier tank, there is no shame in using that. Go for the higher tiers only when you feel comfortable doing so.
- Play smart. If you just sit back at the spawn point and do nothing for most of the match, you’re just making it easier for the enemy to overpower your team. Similarly, there is little benefit in rushing straight ahead and dying during the very start of the match. Try to balance offense and defense, where you constantly attack and pressure your enemies, but also try your best to avoid unnecessary damage.
- Play consistently. Once again, as with any other skill, playing a little every day will make you learn better than playing for 20 hours in a row once every week or so.
- Make your shots count. Whether it taking more time to line up the shot, prioritizing a light tank to the heavy tank, shooting the weak spot over the armored one or just not shooting at all, as to not alert the enemy to your presence. Don’t just shoot at the enemy as soon as you see them — you’d be just wasting your ammo.
