How do you get Relic weapons and gear in FFXIV?

First of all, you need to complete MSQ (Main Story Quests) to even start a special quest-line to unlock one. Keep in mind, that if you upgrade your relic to the max-level (Nexus), to equip such a weapon you will have to get your class to a job and then upgrade this job. After getting to level 80, you will get access to "A Relic Reborn" quest, that at the end of it, will give you access to your relic.

Zenith Relic Weapon. You will spend about 1-2 hours getting this relic. This is officially the fastest relic you can obtain right now!

Is Relic weapon worth it FFXIV 2024?

It depends on why do you want it. If you need big damage output then you should look into certain relics from the recent patch. They will be most efficient.
