What is the passage of confidence trials of osiris?

Passages are sort of like “tickets” to the Trials of Osiris activity. It might seem unnecessary at first, but really, their point is less in the passing itself, but rather a special bonus each of them can grant you. There’s a total of four Passages and each of them will provide you a special bonus for as long as you use it or until the Season ends. The first two Passages are available from the start, while the other two require you to fulfill specific win requirements during a Season before you can get them.

Passage of Confidence doubles your reward from the Lighthouse, where all the most valuable Trials rewards lie. This Passage is extremely lucrative, but also immensely dangerous, since it offers you no help and if you fail even once, you’ll have to start all over.

What happens if you reset the passage trials of osiris?

Resetting your Passage depends on what rewards you’re after. If you’re trying to get the flawless run and get to the lighthouse, then by all means — reset the Passage and start fresh as soon as you lose your first match (or second match with Passage of Mercy). 

However, if you’re just trying to increase your Trials rank with Saint-14 to get the rewards from the gear he offers at the hangar and don’t really care about the flawless run, then you should just keep going. The more wins you accumulate on the passage, the more points you’d be receiving, no matter how many losses you had.

How do you unlock trials of osiris?

There are several requirements you must meet before you can access the Trials of Osiris.

1. You must own the latest Destiny 2 expansion. Not any specific one, but in general. 
2. Complete the Trials Quest. You can receive it from the Saint-14 at the Tower near a hangar. While being called a quest, it's really just a bunch of PvP challenges you must complete.
3. Purchase the Passage from Saint-14. The first two passages are available from the start, the other two must be unlocked by meeting certain win requirements. Passages are sold for Glimmer and Legendary Shards.

Can you get adept weapons without going flawless?

There are some other activities that can drop Adept weapons, such as Grandmaster Nightfalls and Master tier Raids. But it’s important to note that every activity has its own pool of reward weapons. In other words, if you want to get the Adept version of a gun only available through Trials of Osiris, then the flawless Trials run is your only option to get the Adept version of this specific weapon.

How do you unlock passages in trials of osiris?

There’s four types of passages total in the Trials of Osiris, two of which are available from the start. The other two require seven won matches and a flawless run, respectively.
